MyLocator2 is a FREE desktop App that runs on your PC. Simply plug USB cable into your vLoc2 series locator and let the App do the rest. MyLocator2 automatically checks your current software and with a single click lets users update their locator with the latest firmware. MyLocator2 also allows users to select just the features you want displayed and lock-out access to other features that you want hidden. MyLocator2 also provides an intuitive built-in utility that allows for easy data download of any saved "locate logs", especially for GPS users or locators requiring time and date stamp or SUE firms building underground utility maps. The vLocDM Transmitter is a high-powered unit which makes long range signal detection possible up to 20 miles (32km). The flexible power requirements enable it to utilize the variety of supplies available at most transformer rectifier stations. The new vLocML2+ is the perfect locator for systems where EMS marker balls are used. The vLocML2+ comes standard with all the features as the vLocPro2 but with a built-in lightweight tough carbon fiber encased antenna for accurate marker ball detection. The vLocML2+ can be a dedicated marker ball locator, a full featured pipe & cable locator, or locate both marker balls and pipes & cables simultaneously. The new dual antenna design provides auto depth during marker mode locates.

The color display indicates the marker type, and is identified by both, a colored ICON and a number - the response is indicated by a large animated circular ball.

  1. Switch to Dedicated marker mode
  2. Pinpoint the position of the marker
  3. Position locator on ground directly above target marker
  4. Press [ i ] button and below will be displayed
  5. The rotating symbol indicates that unit is calculating the depth. Hold the unit stationary while it calculates.
