Receiver
The VM-550 receiver is equipped with 60Hz (passive), 512Hz, 8kHz & 83kHz. The 512Hz & 8kHz frequency is ideal for most pipe and cable locating and offer push-button depth. The high frequency 83kHz is ideal for pipe and tracer wire applications & when cable clamp or direct connection is not available. 60Hz mode works well when sweeping passively for energized power lines. Each VM-550 kit includes receiver, transmitter, leads & carry bag.

The VM-540 Sonde Locator consists of a receiver only. It is equipped with 60Hz (passive), 512Hz & 33kHz for sonde locating & push-button depth. The 512Hz frequency is ideal for most plastic pipe and sewer camera locating. The higher frequency 33kHz works with 33kHz sondes. Each VM-540 receiver includes a carry bag.
